Anusha Kanagala is an AI Engineer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she works in the Diagnostics Intelligence Group with Dr. Sandeep Bodduluri. She designs agentic workflows and automated pipelines that carry thousands of scans from segmentation to modeling, and she evaluates multi-agent systems across models and agent harnesses. Her broader research includes tremor detection from ECG data and new disease-detection technologies, including neuro, skin, retina, ECG scans. This work builds on her earlier research on traumatic brain injury in UAB’s Department of Radiology. She also brings more than six years of industry experience from Motorola Solutions.
