People are at the center of everything he does, which drives him to become an effective leader and inspires him to be a thoughtful designer. Tushar learned critical thinking, the value of sharing ideas, and social responsibility growing up in a household with an engineer and a liberal arts professor. Those principles guide him today as he balances leading Stantec’s Health Sector with advancing a new generation of healthcare facilities, always pushing for innovation in design for health
Tushar influences the profession nationally and has served on the American Institute of Architects (AIA) - Academy of Architecture for Health’s board of directors and as president. For his remarkable contributions to architecture and society, Tushar has been elevated to the prestigious College of Fellows by the AIA. His alma mater, Texas A&M University, College of Architecture, also honored him as an Outstanding Alumnus.
