Description
Aquila Health makes sense of health data in all its forms and makes it all speak the same language. Electronic health records, lab results, claims, clinical notes, public health reports and even spreadsheets and scanned documents all arrive in different formats from different systems. We clean, organize and translate that information into one consistent, trusted language so the organizations that hold it can finally put it to work. Instead of pulling everyone's information into one central database, we leave data where it belongs, with the organizations that own it, and make it accurate, consistent and secure enough to share. That protects patient privacy while giving care teams, health systems and public agencies a complete, reliable picture.
We do this because healthcare runs on information, but most of it is stuck. Hospitals, health networks and public agencies hold enormous amounts of patient data, yet it's scattered across disconnected systems, recorded in incompatible formats, and hard to trust. That gap slows down care, drives up costs, and keeps new tools like AI from delivering on their promise.
Aquila is led by CEO and co-founder Dr. Jaime Bland, who has spent more than two decades building health data infrastructure, and co-founder and Executive Chairman Mike Lu, who scaled Triller into a global technology platform. They lead a team of 10 senior leaders with more than 180 combined years of experience across clinical, technical and commercial disciplines, spanning eight sectors of the health data and federal landscape. Our team has built statewide and national health information exchanges, led data programs inside federal agencies including the CDC, and grown technology companies to global scale.
We built Aquila to solve the problems we've seen firsthand. Our vision is a connected health data ecosystem that reaches every provider and crosses every border, where fragmented data is made whole and trustworthy and arrives securely to the right people, in the right form, exactly when it's needed.
