AI adoption is driven by a culture of innovation and trust. A sufficient understanding of AI is critical to developing the needed trust for adoption, and yet North America ranks among the lowest in the world with respect to AI literacy. This session will focus on the need for AI literacy in the healthcare workforce, and more specifically pharmacy, as a foundational pillar for AI adoption. The panel will review the need for AI literacy, integrating AI into pharmacy school curriculum, and student perspectives on the need for AI literacy in preparing for the future of healthcare.
