He serves as Visiting Professor in Ethics in AI in Healthcare at the University of East London and is Chairman of the Arab Organisation of AI in Healthcare. An award-winning clinician, researcher, author, and international keynote speaker, Professor Abdul-Hamid has pioneered the integration of ethical, explainable, and trustworthy AI into clinical practice. He is the recipient of the Alan Turing Award in Dental Artificial Intelligence and has authored several books on AI governance, ethics, and digital transformation in healthcare.
