Founder & Software Engineer
Studio Rehoboth
Meheret Egzerab is the founder of Studio Rehoboth, an independent product studio building consumer health and wellbeing technology. Her flagship product, Soft Habits, is a self-compassion habit tracker that reimagines habit formation without streaks or guilt-based mechanics - designed instead around a gentler, more sustainable approach to building habits over time. Before founding Studio Rehoboth, Meheret spent over eight years as a software engineer at Capital One, building at scale before turning her focus to consumer products at the intersection of behavior, technology, and wellbeing. In 2026, she was named a Technical.ly RealLIST Innovator for Maryland. Meheret is a featured partner of the Women's Health and Wellness Society, where Soft Habits is featured as part of its Life Factors initiative. She also organizes the AI Collective Maryland chapter, bringing together founders and engineers applying AI to real-world problems, and speaks about building and shipping AI-powered consumer products.
