Name
AI in robotics
Description

This workshop explores how AI is reshaping what robots can do in clinical settings, and why healthcare leaders and frontline clinicians need to understand what's coming. From AI-assisted surgical systems that enhance precision and reduce variability in the OR, to autonomous robots transforming patient transport, medication delivery, and post-acute rehabilitation, the technology is moving faster than most health systems are prepared for. This session will examine the developments gaining real traction across US healthcare today, including computer vision in diagnostics, robotic process automation in clinical workflows, and the emerging role of AI in reducing physician burden and staffing pressures, and address the questions that matter most to those responsible for patient outcomes and institutional strategy.

This workshop is designed to move discussion into real-world action. Each session creates space for meaningful conversation, peer learning, and shared problem-solving, with a clear focus on what happens after the event. Participants will be encouraged to continue the dialogue beyond the room by sharing reflections, resources, and follow-up actions via a dedicated WhatsApp group.
